01 / THE BRIEF

## What we typed

An advertorial in listicle format: an article-style pre-sell page built around one reader question, 7 signs your running shoes are worn out. Write it like a running-magazine checklist. Near the top, label it clearly as sponsored content from Pacefold. The list comes first: seven numbered signs readers can check on their own shoes today (a smooth or uneven tread, deep creases in the midsole, a heel counter that has gone soft, a shoe that twists too easily, an upper wearing through near the toes, cushioning that feels flatter than it used to, and having lost track of how long they have run in them), each with a short heading and a tip on how to check it. Only after the list, introduce the Pacefold Daily as one option for the next pair: a cushioned daily trainer with a breathable knit upper, $120, with free returns within 30 days even if worn on a run. Keep claims modest. No injury, medical or performance claims, and no invented studies, statistics, mileage figures, reviews, quotes or expert names. Main action: Shop the Pacefold Daily. In the footer, add one line: Pacefold is a demo brand created to show what Octet Prow can build. It is not a real company and nothing here is for sale.

04 / REVIEW

## What we checked and changed

We read every line for claims we had not supplied and asked the editor to remove an invented reader story, a time estimate that contradicted itself, a check that did not work ("hold the sole up to a window"), four generalisations about what most runners and shoes do, and a sizing note the brief never gave. We also changed the headline from a question to a numbered one so the page reads as a listicle, and asked for one image per check.
