Terms of Service

Last updated: September 23, 2026 · Version 1.1

1. Introduction and operator

Welcome to Octet Prow (the “Service”). The Service is operated independently by Jin Bojin, an individual sole proprietor operating under the laws of the People’s Republic of China (“we”, “us”, or “our”), and not by a company or other organization.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and us governing your use of the Service, including the website octet-prow.app, the console, and pages hosted on its subdomains. By signing up, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Paid subscriptions are sold to you by Waffo Pancake as the Merchant of Record. See “Payment and auto-renewal authorization” for details.

2. The Service

The Service is an online software service (SaaS) that enables you to generate, edit, and publish product landing pages through conversations with AI. Its main features include generating page copy, layouts, and images; creating a design system for each project; editing a selected area of a page using natural-language instructions; uploading your own images; and publishing pages to a platform subdomain.

The Service is a digital service. Access to your plan is granted immediately after payment is confirmed, and no physical goods are delivered.

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate content. We currently access text models such as Qwen, Kimi, and DeepSeek, and the Wan image model, through Alibaba Cloud Model Studio. We select the model for each generation automatically and may change it at any time. The quality and availability of the Service depend in part on these model providers.

We continuously improve the Service and may add, change, or discontinue features. We will give advance notice of changes that materially affect the core use of the Service by paying customers.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You may register using an email address and password or a Google account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date, especially your email address, which we use for account verification, password recovery, and notices about billing and changes to these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised or you notice a security issue, send an email to support@octet-prow.app immediately.

Plans, quotas, and fees apply at the organization level. Organization owners can add organization members to projects and assign roles, and you are responsible for the conduct of the members you add.

4. Plans, trial, and quotas

The Service offers a free trial and several paid plans billed monthly. The price of each plan, and its limits on projects, pages, publishes, monthly generations, and tokens, are as published on the pricing page.

Quotas are shared across all projects in an organization. Monthly generations and tokens are counted per billing period on paid plans, starting on each billing date, and per calendar month during the free trial. Unused quotas are not carried forward to the next period.

New organizations can try the Service free for 14 days. The trial period allows you to assess whether the Service meets your requirements. No payment is required to start a trial, and trial quotas may be lower than those of paid plans.

If you do not have an active paid subscription when your trial or subscription ends, your organization becomes read-only. You can still sign in and view existing projects and pages, but you cannot create projects or pages, generate content, or publish pages. Subscribing again restores full access.

5. Payment and auto-renewal authorization

Merchant of Record. Paid subscriptions are sold to you by Waffo Pancake as the Merchant of Record. Waffo Pancake is the legal seller in the transaction and is responsible for collecting payment, calculating and remitting applicable taxes, issuing invoices, processing refunds, and handling chargebacks. Invoices will show Waffo Pancake as the seller. When you place an order, you also agree to the purchase terms Waffo Pancake presents at checkout. We provide the Service itself and are responsible for product questions and technical support.

Prices and taxes. The price you pay is the one shown on the pricing page and the checkout page at the time of purchase. Whether taxes are included, and the amount of tax, are as shown at checkout.

Auto-renewal authorization. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. By providing a payment method and subscribing to a paid plan, you expressly authorize Waffo Pancake, on our behalf, to charge that payment method the applicable subscription fee at the start of each billing period. This authorization remains in effect until you cancel as described in “Cancellation”.

Upgrades and downgrades. Upgrades take effect immediately, and the prorated difference for the remaining days of the current billing period is charged at that time. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. After a downgrade, projects and pages that exceed the new plan’s limits are retained, but you cannot create additional projects or pages until your usage falls within those limits.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Waffo Pancake may retry the charge over the following days. If the payment still does not succeed, your subscription ends and your organization becomes read-only.

Price changes. If we change the price of a paid plan, we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance. The new price applies from the first billing period that starts after the notice period. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time using either of the following methods:

  • Online (recommended): sign in and go to Dashboard → Usage & billing → Cancel subscription.
  • By email: send an email to support@octet-prow.app from your registered email address. We will cancel your subscription and confirm by reply within 2 business days.

Cancellation takes effect immediately, and no further renewal charges will be made. You can continue to use your paid plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which your organization becomes read-only.

After your subscription ends, we retain your projects, pages, and uploaded files for at least 90 days, and you can restore access by subscribing again during that time. If you do not subscribe again within 90 days, we may delete this data and take down your published pages. We will notify you by email before doing so.

7. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable, except in the following cases:

  • 7-day guarantee for first subscriptions: if you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your first charge, provided that your generations and tokens used in that billing period are each no more than 20% of your plan’s quota.
  • Duplicate charges: if you are charged more than once for the same billing period, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
  • Service outages: if the Service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours for reasons within our control, you can request a refund of the current period’s fee in proportion to the length of the outage, within the refund period allowed by our payment provider.
  • Statutory rights: this section does not limit any refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live, such as the cooling-off rights of consumers in the EU and the UK.

To request a refund, send an email to support@octet-prow.app with your registered email address, the charge date, and the reason for your request. We will confirm within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Waffo Pancake to your original payment method and are usually received within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer.

Refunds are not available for: billing periods that have already started and are not covered above, including mid-period cancellations and downgrades; renewal charges, as the 7-day guarantee applies only to first subscriptions; or accounts suspended or terminated for violating these Terms.

8. Billing disputes

If you believe you have been charged in error, please first send an email to support@octet-prow.app, including your registered email address, the charge date, the amount, and a description of the issue, before filing a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We will respond within 2 business days and work with Waffo Pancake to resolve the issue.

If you file a chargeback without contacting us first, we may suspend the paid features of the related account while the dispute is being resolved.

9. Your content and generated content

Your content. Content you submit to the Service, including chat messages, project briefs, product information, and uploaded images, belongs to you or its original rights holders. To provide the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, copy, process, and display that content as necessary to provide and maintain the Service, including sharing it with the providers listed in “Service providers” and hosting and displaying your pages publicly once you publish them.

Generated content. Copy, layouts, design systems, and images that the Service generates from your input (“Generated Content”) belong to you, and you may use them for commercial purposes. We do not guarantee that Generated Content is eligible for copyright protection or that it is unique, as other users may receive similar content.

No training. We do not use your content or Generated Content to train AI models without your express consent, and we do not sell your content. AI model providers process requests under their own terms.

Accuracy. Generated Content is produced automatically by AI and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or information that does not reflect your actual product. AI-generated images are illustrative and do not depict the actual goods. Please review all content before publishing, especially prices, product claims, statistics, customer reviews, certifications, and legal statements. You are solely responsible for whether and what you publish.

Your representations. You represent that you have the right to submit your content and grant the license above; that your content does not infringe the intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights of others; and that you have a lawful basis for any personal information of others included in your content.

10. Acceptable use policy

You must use the Service lawfully and in good faith. You must not use the Service to engage in, or assist others in engaging in, any of the following activities:

  • Illegal content and goods: publish or promote illegal content, or sell or promote prohibited or regulated goods and services, such as drugs, weapons and ammunition, gambling, sexually explicit content, counterfeit goods, or unlicensed medicines, medical devices, or financial products.
  • False or misleading advertising: fabricate or exaggerate a product’s effects, sales, rankings, qualifications, or certifications; use fictitious customer reviews, case studies, or expert or celebrity endorsements; display false limited-time offers, stock levels, or original prices; or make unsubstantiated claims about medical treatment, weight loss, health benefits, or investment returns.
  • Infringing the rights of others: use third parties’ trademarks, copyrighted works, likenesses, or personal information without authorization; impersonate another brand, organization, or person; or create copycat pages that are difficult to distinguish from someone else’s website.
  • Fraud and security threats: create phishing or scam pages; use pages to deceive individuals into submitting passwords, card numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive information; distribute malware or cyberattack tools; or use pages to redirect visitors to any of the above.
  • Deepfakes and harmful content: generate or distribute synthetic images, audio, or video that impersonate real people; promote terrorism, violence, or hatred, or harass, defame, or threaten others; or publish any content that sexualizes or endangers minors.
  • Spam: mass-produce pages for spam email, spam text messages, search engine manipulation, or traffic fraud.
  • Misuse of AI capabilities: use inputs, outputs, or model responses from the Service to train, fine-tune, or distill AI models that compete with the Service; scrape model outputs at scale or systematically; or present AI-generated content as the advice of a qualified professional in medical, legal, financial, or other settings where it could cause harm.
  • Misuse of the Service: create multiple accounts to obtain additional trials or quotas; resell, rent, or share accounts or access without our prior written consent; circumvent quotas, security measures, or access controls; access the Service with automated tools at scale without permission; reverse engineer, load test, or scan the Service for vulnerabilities, or otherwise interfere with its operation; or impersonate Octet Prow or its staff.
  • Third-party rules and sanctions: violate the rules and usage policies of the publishing channels (such as Shopify), advertising platforms, card networks, or AI model providers you use; or use the Service in a country or region subject to applicable sanctions or export controls, or on behalf of a sanctioned person or entity.

Advertising compliance. Published pages constitute your marketing materials, and you are responsible for their publication and advertising compliance. Before publishing, ensure that your pages comply with applicable advertising, consumer protection, and industry regulations (for example, the restrictions on superlative claims and efficacy claims under the Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China), and keep records that substantiate your claims.

Enforcement. If we discover or receive a report of a suspected violation, we may, as appropriate, remove or block the content, take down published pages, restrict features, suspend or terminate the account, and report the matter to authorities where required by law. In urgent cases such as phishing or fraud, we may act immediately without notice. We are not obligated to review all content proactively.

Reporting. If you find a page hosted on the Service that violates this policy or infringes your rights, send an email to support@octet-prow.app with the page URL, the reason for your report, and proof of your rights where applicable. We will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

11. Publishing, hosting, and Shopify

You can publish pages to your project’s subdomain on octet-prow.app. A project’s subdomain is set when the project is created and cannot be changed afterwards. Subdomains reserved by the platform (such as api, assets, and www) are not available.

If you change the path of a published page, its previous URL will cease to function, and you are responsible for updating links in your ads and other channels.

We make reasonable efforts to keep published pages online, but we do not guarantee any level of availability. Maintenance, outages, or disruptions at third-party services may make pages temporarily inaccessible.

You are the operator of your published pages. You are responsible for meeting any privacy notice, cookie consent, or similar requirements in the countries or regions your pages target. Published pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means visitors’ browsers send requests to Google.

Shopify. You can connect a Shopify store to a project. When you connect, we request only permission to write the store’s pages and themes. We do not read or process orders, payments, or customer information, and store access tokens are stored encrypted. You can disconnect the store in the Service at any time, after which we stop using its token. To fully revoke access, uninstall the app from your Shopify admin. Your use of Shopify is also subject to Shopify’s terms.

12. Service providers

We rely on the following providers to operate the Service. Each processes data within the scope of its role, and processing may take place outside the country or region where you live:

  • Waffo Pancake: Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions, responsible for payment collection, taxes, invoicing, refunds, and chargebacks.
  • Alibaba Cloud (Model Studio): AI text and image generation. Your chat messages, project briefs, page content, and attached images are sent to it for processing.
  • Cloudflare: website hosting and content delivery, hosting of published pages, file storage (uploaded images, generated images, and page files), and DNS.
  • Railway: operates the Service’s backend.
  • Supabase: database storing accounts, organizations, projects, pages, and usage records.
  • Resend: sends account verification, password reset, and other emails.
  • Google: Google sign-in (only if you choose it), website analytics (Google Analytics), and font loading on published pages (Google Fonts).
  • Shopify: used only if you connect a store, for store authorization and writing content to your store.

We will update this list when our providers change. Outages, changes, or terms of third-party services are outside our control.

13. Privacy and security

We collect and use only the personal information needed to provide the Service, such as your email address, display name, basic Google account profile, sign-in records, and usage data, and we share it with providers only as described in “Service providers”. We do not sell your personal information. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Payment card data is handled exclusively by Waffo Pancake, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, and never passes through or is stored on our servers.

Your sign-in session is stored in cookies that page scripts cannot read, and secrets such as Shopify store tokens are stored encrypted. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system can guarantee absolute security. To report a security vulnerability, email support@octet-prow.app.

14. Our intellectual property

Except for your content and Generated Content, the Service, including its software, interface, design, and the Octet Prow name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.

We may freely use any suggestions or feedback you provide to us without any obligation to compensate you.

15. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and data, cancel any paid subscription first, then send an email to support@octet-prow.app from your registered email address. After verifying your identity, we will complete the deletion within 30 days, except for data we are required by law to retain. Deleted data cannot be recovered, and your published pages will be taken down.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms (including the acceptable use policy), fail to pay fees when due, expose us or others to legal risk, or if required by law. Where possible, we will notify you in advance.

If we decide to discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and refund, on a prorated basis, any prepaid subscription fees for unused time.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including those on refunds, billing disputes, your content and generated content, disclaimers and limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law and disputes.

16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI-generated content will be accurate, lawful, or fit for a particular purpose, or that using the Service will produce any sales, conversions, or other business results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, or business interruption.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for losses caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

17. Indemnification

You will indemnify us against losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from any third-party claim relating to your content, your published pages, or your violation of these Terms or the law, except to the extent caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, including their formation, validity, interpretation, and the resolution of disputes, are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, which for the purposes of these Terms exclude the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, and Taiwan.

If a dispute arises, please first send an email to support@octet-prow.app describing the issue, and we will try to resolve it with you informally. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days after either party raises it, either party may bring a lawsuit before a competent people’s court at the place where the operator is domiciled.

Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the laws where you live.

19. General terms

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms and will update the date and version number at the top of this page accordingly. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before they take effect.

Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may transfer these Terms together with the Service and will notify you if we do.

Entire agreement and severability. These Terms, together with the purchase terms Waffo Pancake presents at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.

Language. These Terms are provided in Chinese and English. If the two versions conflict, the Chinese version prevails.

20. Contact us

For any questions about these Terms, your account, billing, refunds, cancellation, violation reports, privacy, or security, email support@octet-prow.app. Correspondence sent to this address is handled personally by the operator, and we usually respond within 2 business days.
